The Most AMAZING Chicken Marinade

This chicken marinade is literally the best on I have ever had, and I have made several marinades.

These are all of the ingredients in the marinate besides the chicken. The little plastic bag in the photo is full of rosemary from the family garden that we dried last season.

After you have finished mixing the marinate, put it in a bag with your chicken. You can cut it, as I have. You do NOT have to.
The Most AMAZING Chicken Marinade

  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 1/3 c. apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 c. lemon juice
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. rosemary
  • 2 tbsp. mustard
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 6 chicken breasts or 4 lbs of chicken

Directions:
  1. Mix all ingredients together. Put chicken and marinade in a bag and *marinate for at least 4 hours and up to 24 hours.

OPTIONAL: After you cook the chicken, if you want to use the leftover marinate to make a sauce. Bring the leftover marinate to a boil, let it simmer until it has thickened slightly. You can also add a little bit of cornstarch or flour and whisk it if you want it to be a little thicker.

*NOTES: I've marinated my chicken for as few as 30 min. and the chicken was still amazing. Basically, the longer you marinate it, the better but do not worry if you don't have a lot of time.
